.I did this piece for my Sanity Through Creativity Show at the Studio 620 in 2011. I'm divorced and at times I would picture my ex wife just standing there staring into an abyss of darkness with on shining light, the sun, for the sun will be there tomorrow as well.

life. it's the true education. I love it, i hate it, i'm thankful for it, i live for it, i enjoy it, i learn from it, all i have to do is stay open to what it gives me.

i did this piece for the BLUE LUCY show COLORS. i had this idea in my head for quite sometime. finally and thankfully Chad invited me and i was able to get it out.

Dude, where’s my art? 
 Artist and skateboarder Dan Lasata unveils his skate-life-influenced works in his first public exhibit at Cafe Bohemia on Saturday.
  The pro boarder is inspired by skateboard graffiti for his trippy, graphic images. An opening reception is 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the funky downtown coffee shop at 937 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg. The art will be on display through Aug. 13.
